It's so so soft. And when I wore it a big rainstorm happened and I surprisingly didn't get too soaked so it took a bit for the short to be soaked so that's a plus lol. But is you have sensory issues the patches are super soft as well so no issues there either, the stitching never caused issues, aka well worth the price.
