KIDS BEANIE

Albert has made a friend and it is a skull. He perches on top of it looking perfectly pleased with himself, stitched by hand onto the cuff of a soft black beanie. Spooky enough for Halloween, cute enough to wear all the way through winter.

This is the small version of our Skull Albert beanie. Same artwork, same stitches, on a double layer acrylic knit made for smaller heads. The cuff folds up so the skull sits right at the front, and the knit is warm and soft with no scratch to it. Grown ups can match in black or lavender.

A few things people ask

  • Is this the same design as the adult beanie? Yes. Same Skull Albert artwork, same digitising, same premium German threads, stitched on a smaller beanie. The adult version comes in black and lavender if you want to match.
  • Is it too spooky for a small child? The skull is a cute round cartoon one with Albert sitting happily on top, closer to a friendly ghost than anything scary.
  • Is it warm? Yes. This one is a double layer acrylic knit, so it is thicker and warmer than a single layer beanie and good for proper cold days.
  • Is the embroidery printed? No. Every stitch is real embroidery, sewn at home in the UK, so the design keeps its texture and will not crack or peel the way a print does.
  • Is it itchy? The acrylic is a soft touch yarn, chosen because it sits gently on the forehead and ears.
  • Is it only for Halloween? Not at all. Plenty of people wear this one right through the winter.
